About Mrs. Musson
This year will be my seventeenth year as a classroom teacher in the Troy School District! This is my eighth year teaching first grade at Troy Hofer Elementary! I absolutely love being a first grade teacher. Prior to coming to Troy Hofer, I taught 2nd grade for 8 years. I also was a third grade teacher and a reading interventionist at Troy Craughwell. Before that position, I was a substitute teacher and a kindergarten reading aide. I received a Master of the Arts degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University in 2010. I graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Education in 2004. I live in Oswego with my husband, two children, and our dog Wyatt. In my spare time I enjoy reading, traveling, being outdoors, Broadway musicals, and spending time with my family!

During the 2021-2022 school year I was honored with the Joliet Chamber of Commerce Great Teacher Award along with some of my talented colleagues! |
